My Role as You Begin and Continue Your Journey:
You are seeking your own life “center.” As you start this trek, my “Live Lite”
mission is to pass on those discovery tools that lead you toward a simpler,
enriched life. Handing you those tools commits me to stay with you as you
call upon common sense nutrition, reshape your surroundings, and get a
fitness groove which suits your spirit. To me, you are Indeed the “only one”
You’re at the heart of the matter.

Okay. I’ve been on this journey. You’re here because you don’t like the path
you’re on. We’ll find another route. I used my head and my heart; you’ll use
yours. I’ll be your cheerleader. If you don’t do it, I’ll be your inner voice. I’ll do
“whatever” to keep you on course. You won’t give up; I won’t either.
For starters, we’ll collaborate. Really, what you will do is based on the KISS
principle. We’ll keep it simple, snappy. No lollygagging. No shortcuts. Your
heart is on the line. It’s all related to living lightly.
For background, I’m a certified Western Culinary Institute chef. I started and operated
“Colette’s Muffins and Scones,” a thriving business. I was Director of Food Services for the
Ridgefield School District. I’ve been a fitness coach for five years, and am certified in Pilates.
My Bachelor of Science is in Community Health Education.
That is fine, but this is how it all really started for me. A few years ago, I looked at myself
honestly and realized I wasn’t truly alive. First, I looked at what I was eating and how it
affected my body. My kitchen was a hodge-podge of good and lousy stuff. I realized I wasn’t
really “into” any exercise program. I needed to change all that. I said to myself, “Self—start
now.” I’m still “working the project.” As they say these days, I’m a “work in progress.” I’ve got
an attitude: a healthy one.
Now I am determined to take you on a similar journey. You’ll like it. I guarantee. Stick with me!
